Bluetooth options...

Looking to install bluetooth into my 2003 CLK55 (W209). I can get the Argos for $750 or the complete stock system for $600. Any takers as which one is better? Does the Argos have any extra options over the stock system?
Looking to do this asap, your input is welcome
Thanks
Matt

The Argos is compatible with all phones (unlike the factory system), and most claim the sound quality is better.

This solution looks great.
Is it compatible with command 2.0/Bose system on a european CLK 55 AMG of 2003 ?

It is compatible with ALL D2B Mercedes (regardless of country, or radio (COMAND)), which includes an 03 CLK.
To the car, it looks like a factory phone system is installed. Therefore 100% of the phone functions and buttons work as they should.

To resume, the Argos solution is compatible with my CLK 55 AMG 2003 which have :
- Comand 2.0 D2B (352)
- Bose ampli D2B (810)
- wired phone Nokia (853)

It will replace the wired phone to simulate it for bluetooth devices ?
The steering wheel commands will still work ?
Phone number can be composed on Comand (as wired phone) ?
The microphone of wired phone will be reused in handfree usage ?

Thats correct, it will replace your phone and simulate it for bluetooth. It's 100% compatible with your stock system and should need no coding at all. What is it that you currently have? the cradle in the armrest? Wouldnt it be more cost efficient to get the bluetooth simulator itself? V60? thats only $150 or so and should work/do all you need

Get the cradle eliminator cable ($75) along with the appropriate Bluetooth V60 or MBU-1000 ($250 or so) and be done with it for maybe $350ish.
Email this guy, he is the one that did mine yesterday, he has been working in MBZ since 1985
cellguy@live.com, tell him that Matt (the guy with the CLK55 from yesterday Sunday) referred you to him. He has in stock all parts and is cheap.

No phone was bluetooth back then. Options were Nokia, Motorolla etc, all phones needed to be attached to the cradle or wired to the care. What they have done is replaced the actual phone for a unit that send bluetooth signal. In my case, we installed a motorolla wired system and installed the V60 unit that replaces the motorolla phone for a bluetooth unit
E0-mail the guy and let me know
