How many miles do you have on your CLK? & list your problems
Update on mine since I can't seem the edit the post.
~51,000mi
Driver-side HID balast died which required me to pull the bumper. Found a used replacement part from a C-Class on ebay for $100 to fix it.
Tranny seems to have a tiny leak around the electrical connector I need to fix.

Well, 9 months later got around to changing that^^ transmission o-ring today. Something had been leaking under the car last week and I think that's the culprit.
P/N: A 203 540 02 53 was $14 at the dealership. Didn't even need any of the $19/qt tranny fluid. Took about 10 minutes.
I own a 2001 CLK 320 convertible that is about to approach 200,000 miles (it will turn before end of June 2013). Right now the AC is out and I'm bringing the car in this Friday to check and see if it just needs coolant.
Car has been mostly trouble-free. Had numerous problems when the car was first purchased (new); such as, if I can recall:
1. rear bumper needed to be re-painted as the paint was too thin
2. gas gauge stopped working and was replaced
3. catalytic converter went out and was replaced
4. convertible top tensioner cables broke (more than a few times)
These were all repaired under warranty. I spend perhaps $500 every other year for some 'thing' that goes wrong, and I replace headlight lamps on a pretty regular basis.
After 13 years and 200,000 miles, it still looks great, and when we're driving through wine country with the top down, there's nothing nicer on the road.

AMG CLK55, 450 SEL (sorely missed), Holden Commodore SS, Nissan Navara (company car)
150,000 km or 93,000 miles.
1 x headlight indicator bulb.
Headlights surfaces became hazy, had them cut back and clear coated.
Overall paint quality was not good - total respray of vehicle.
Air-con increase fan speed button broke - my fault, pushed it too hard.
Engine mounts.
Front spoiler cracked reversing off wheel alignment machine.
Lifting edges of woodgrain around gear lever selector.
Battery died, the only time the car had me off the road.

2002 CLK 55 AMG cabriolet Eurocharged
Pleased so far,
125,000 @ purchase now approaching 150,000 after one year:
Fixed:
Engine valve terrain noise, Old Lifter Rap thread
Right side control system (window, seat, control)
Convertible top bow and hatch lock cylinders
Stereo Amp install bi-amp (awesome sound)
SRS cabling repair, intermittent SRS lamp thread
Tune-up wires, plugs and KnN filter service, Fuel filter, Cabin Filter.
Trans service w filter
To Fix:
Timing chain service, thread coming soon
Pixel and Instrument lamp re-lamp, this fall
AC service
Overall a lot less work than keeping the hood up on my W124 diesel every weekend and forking out a car payment in parts every month. I love the turbo diesel but the AMG has me hooked. It has been a while since marshaling a powerful V8 and what a comeback. Fun, Fun, Fun

Having problems with this door handle again. Took it apart and everything looks ok but I might replace it anyway.
Otherwise the car has been great over the last 2 years / 30,000mi
2002 CLK55. Bought early August 2012. 30k miles
now 37k miles.
Problems: nothing too major. -
1. central locking pneumatic unit wasnt working correctly. fixed @ dealer
2. front seats - randonly the front drivers seat buttons stop tilting the seat forward - pushing the button either forwards or backwards results in the seat reclinings. The memory presets do return it to where it needs to be.
3. Passenger seat: same issue but with the base. The back/ forward buttons randomly seems like it thinks its reached the end of its travel sooner than it should. again, presets work properly.
4. Passenger window randomly thinks its fully up when its only half way up. cant figure out why. i reset it, and its fine for a while and then goes back to this.
5. the handle on the passenger seat that is used to bring the seat forward to allow access to the back seats "sometimes" doesnt appear to engage the actual catch. moving the seat slightly via the electric motors solves this.
5. AC not blowing very cold. just found the diagnosis info on this site so will be diagnosing tonight. My feeling is a very slow leak.
6. battery discharging. This is more a question than a problem, i think, but how long should a fully charged battery keep the car going for when its parked? seems like 2 weeks is getting towards the limit for mine. is that normal?

2001 CLK320 now at 170 000kms
Have owned for 5 years and done 90 000 kms - installed new steering drag links and steering shock absorber, replaced ball joints (old ones were fine), replaced shocks with Bilsteins at 160 000kms (old ones were fine), replaced engine mounts (old one were good) and the usual brake discs and pads.
A very reliable and spirited vehicle with excellent fuel consumption, and ready for another 200 000 kms

2002 CLK 430
185,000 miles
Engine still superb.
Crank positioning sensor 1X
Fore/Aft seat motor on driver's side then passenger
Pixles gone on 1 gauge
A/C unit has unresolved leak.
Binding rear brake caliper (replaced)
Pot hole damage, replaced upper control arm. Tire wear still uneven.
I'm not ready to part with this car...call me sentimental or stubborn. Still too much joy with each ride. I am shopping for a CLK 63 and will make my purchase after choosing the right service plan. Any advice would be appreciated. Hoping for PM's. (MB warranty not offered)

$152
Mine no longer locks/unlocks. I swapped the pass.-side over to test and it worked fine. I replaced this about 2 years ago
@ 49K Miles my fancy dashboard cup holder went "BOING" when I pressed it in to place my latte....... now it does not autoretract.... and when pushed in stops about 1/2" proud of dash looking oh so hooopty.
New unit is $89 bucks....... but I'm told you have to remove the console, radio, glove box to unbolt the single nut to replace it. ....... oh joy.
2004 clk55...... held it's last latte.

2002 CLK 55 convertible
89,000 miles
Purchased 6 months ago.
Had valve cover gaskets replaced
Transmission Flush (Code p0700) Tranny went into limp mode after flooring it and hitting 110 MPH. Seems fine now)
I noticed it has the BEHR radiator so i guess the previous owner had it changed
Has new shocks from the previous owner as well.
