New to the CLK55 AMG
BBS has had ups and downs, but people still rebuild their wheels today. I have a 30+ year old set on my BMW I'm having rebuilt in NorCal. Officially, when I asked BBS about rebuilding, they shyed away, citing legal risk if the bolts give way. There's a guy on Ebay selling a rebuilding kit with sealant, new nuts and bolts, torque tool, and instructions.
Of course, you can also see if a refinisher can address the issue without going the full rebuilt route.
20 bots is what i counted
16'' is what it measured if i did it correctly which i think i did
i also hope these are not fakes
Here is a new pic of the car what it looks like now i fixed the bumper. Also have a brand new bumper sitting iin the garage i plan to paint it and put the new one on because this one has a small Crack if you can see in the first pic.
Still needs a little work to be perfect i need the front bumper grills plan on doing fog light delete.

Thanks Betreza, i might be needing some help with low cost good value mods just saving up some Ive been looking around in the forums but really couldn't get deep details on performance mods
1. Looks - paint, spoilers, diffuser, etc. etc.... CF interior.... wheels etc... led tail lights....... front spoiler lip..... clear marker lights....
2. Suspension/braking - Many choose to leave the motor alone and work on handling dept....... you can scavenge some 6pot front/4pot rear calipers/rotors from another model..... but some fitment/tweaking may be necessary. Or you can just buy a brembo big brake kit. Many are doing coil-overs mostly for looks.... a few for performance.
Sway bars are avail as well.
3. Engine - IMHO these motors do not really gain much from intake/exhaust per dollar like other marque's...... BUT there are a few guys running high 12's or very very low 13's still nat aspirated. You can go the klee blower route with cams/exhaust for some solid 12's or perhaps 11's if that is important to you.
Weistec is working on a blower kit that "may" work on our car eventually..... I'm watching this development closely to perhaps build a dedicated boost motor on a stand in my shop with the intent of putting the wiestec on it.. and then in my clk........ but we'll see....... The CLKBS are getting low enough in price used to start to look attractive to me..... my local mb dealer has a nice black CLK63BS with 20k miles for mid 60's..... this become very attractive to me in the 50's....... then it's long-tubes/tune and my dream car.
GL.......
but I'm trying to Focus on Performance right now what caught my eye is Headers i hear stock headers restrict alot of flow. Then i dont know to D-cat the exhaust or go with a High end Cat Converter i have dual AMG quad tip exhaust right now i also want to give it some sound it just to quiet for me.
Order
1.Headers
2.D-Cat or Performance Catback for better sound
3.Pulleys Maybe?
What do you think about these mods not trying to do anything crazy just want more sound and a little power?
