1 month clk55, gone :'(
Today, At 12:38 am it was official, i had lost my CLK55 AMG.
I was driving down a local freeway coming back from a friends house. Some stupid guy in this Mitsubishi didn't yield and hit my rear end and i sort of spinned around and lost control and hit a tree at around 40mph. When i got hit, I must of hit the curb or something cause my aligment was totally gone and went unbelievable. I couldn't control and went straight into a tree. I'm fine not a scratch on me, but the love of my life, my darling, my 'pretty women', my CLK, did not make it out alive. Oil and a gasoline was everywhere underneath the car. The towing guy, at 12:38, told me i lost her. I'm so upset. It has even passed a month since i picked it up from the dealership. Some stupid young kid couldn't yield. Such a shame....

Jeez, so sorry, hope you can get a new one. I'm glad no one was hurt.Things could have been much much worse... one of the local Mercedes dealership girls (quite attractive and very personable) that goes over your car's controls etc upon delivery, was killed a few nights ago when she was thrown from a car, she was in her mid thirties, divorced and left two children behind

Ok, I've come down to this, I'm not going to spend to much money on the car i'm buying now, Cause in a few months i will probulary get a e55 or s55 amg. So it looks like 2 c32's for now then i'll trade my old one in for a e55 or s55 amg.

Dude, I feel your pain. At least you and the other driver are OK. Now for the next car, maybe a CLK55 Cab or E55. The S55 looks great but handles like a big car when pushed. I suspect you won't like driving it as much as the other two. The Porsche TT will be sitting your garage when you need a back seat.
I rented a SUV for 3 months between lease end and new car arrival. My MB dealer got it for me from Enterprise for cost($500/month). Sometimes it's fun to have a car you can abuse and not care about. Also, they exchanged it for a different vehicle midway just for a change of pace.

Wait if he's 16, then technically he is joyriding, because in NJ they award a license to 17 year olds, which is their junior license, and award a full license to 18 year olds. So if the kid is really infact 16, then not only does his insurance go up, but he can lose his license for a LONG TIME.
Glad you're okay, and hope to see you in a new ///AMG in no time!
