Hello everyone

I have an all original white exterior with two tone gray blue designo interior 55amg in showroom condition and 28k original miles.

I have been thinking of selling it since I do not drive it much.
I am single with five cars ,three of which are MBs .

I would love to hear opinions on realistic retail value and if anyone is interested in the car.

There is not even a door ding or a road chip on this car and it needs nothing.
I am not kidding when I say this car is literally in showroom condition(some of the factory plastic carpet covers are still on the car.....and it also has a 5k stereo with the original in the box.
There is also a second set of AMG rims with winter tires never used.

Anyone interested?

I want to sell it and wonder what a fair prize might be for a quick sale.

I believe that car would pull 15k - 18k in florida. The market is poor for V8 MB. Enthusiast and collectors might pay more in NY/CA

Dont think so...
great miles, but there is no "collector" market for a 208 clk 55. Even though it is a great looking car, and nice to drive, it's still a production vehicle. Very, very few MB cars of this time frame have any collector appeal. The hi fi mod also hurts. On a good day, with a person who can write a check ( no loaned money on an 11 year old car), I would think you would get lucky to approach the teens. A shame, but still a nice drive. Just my opinion, but I have lost 10's of thousands learning thru the years. YMMV.

Wow I've never seen the W208 AMG in white. I love the matching interior with the exterior like that. Sure beats my boring W208 in silver on black!

BTW isn't the interior just black/white? I don't see the dark areas as blue.

But as others said, even though it's in perfect condition, it doesn't really command that much more over another CLK55 on the marketplace and these cars aren't considered a collectible so it hasn't weathered depreciation that well. In fact, the aftermarket stereo work (even though high end components) might even detract from the value a small amount.

The original stereo with all components is in a box and can be re installed
There is also a second full set of AMG original rims with winter tires that have never being used that come with the car.

Because of the miles and the fact that this car is all original with out one rock chip anywhere or a flaw of any kind I was thinking it should be worth 21k

I do not believe if one wanted one of this it would be possible to find one in this condition and miles.

Car sold new for 78k.

If it had twice the miles it should be worth in the teens is what I am thinking ......

The leather inside looks like no one ever being in this car......

Thank you all for your comments and interest.
I have just send answers on the interested parties.

I am moving to Europe so I will be selling the car.
There is also a pristine 84 BBi for sale also if anyone wants to spend 100k more for the same performance with collect ability and future appreciation in value

Thank you all

Mario

PS
The interior is dark blue and light silver two tone ....I included another photo it might show(it looks great with the unusual stock blue tint on the windows)

I'm sorry I just don't see it. The interior looks like charcoal (black)/ on white to me. Mine is the charcoal interior (all black)and the black sections look the same to me.

Wow just saw the mileage. I've got 50k on mine and thought that's low. Yours is really low.

Yes your car is low mileage, yes it's in near perfect condition. But to sell it at the top of the mark- you've got to find that right buyer. And the market for these cars just aren't that strong, so you'll be listing it for a while before the right buyer may come along. Best of luck with the sale, just don't expect it to happen right away.

Understand...
but you're way, way past reality. If you find a 208 freak, you might be able to break the teens. That would still take months, I'm afraid, and it's gonna have to be a special guy. Beautiful car, but there's just not much love out there for 208 coupes. Welcome to world of AMG resale.

That's not Designo. 208s came stock two toned.

So what is every 12k in miles worth if less or more on any car that is sold new for that kind of money?
There is Designo leather and it has nothing to do with two tone or not.

Maybe all with opinions on values should post some examples with miles and prizes sold for some good perspective.
The books suggest what I am thinking and I do not think a clk 55 amg in new condition is a soft car!
Got three buyers and it looks someone will be picking it up soon .

Thank you all!

So what can you buy for the same money in same miles and performance in an MB today?

And your clk is not Designo. If it was it would be stamped on the seats.

If your car has Designo, you'd also have a leather stitched dashboard, center console, and upper door panels. This car doesn't.
