AHHHH 2 Flat tires!!

first things first... go take pictures of the potholes... and then send the bill of getting new wheels to city hall...
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
however, you can get the city to pay for new wheels and possibly tires caused by the pot hole... just save those pics, take pics of the pot hole before they repair it. also, jot down the time, date, exact location, witnesses (if any)... and the names of other people who you know were also effected by this pot hole
depending on how your city hall responds to these claims, you can get reimbused within 6 weeks to 6 months...
ahhhh i'll see what we'll do, my mom probably knows what to do...its not me thats paying it would be her so she'll probably do something about it. sounds like its happened to you before?? hopefully i can get a picture of it...i think its on an overpass around 280...any of you guys live around there? its quite a trip for me
i tend to drive with my eyes glued to the road, looking for hazards on unfamiliar roads...
hell, i even come to a screetching halt and swerve around puddles on the street after I wash my car... am i a little bit ****?

My wife hit a pothole in the CLK430 and bent 2 rims but not visibly. The car shook like a SOB so I took it to my favorite tire shop where they dimounted the tires and rolled the rims across the shop. Only then could I see the bends. It was a nice excuse to upgrade to the 18" SL wheels and Pilot Sports.
****? Nope. I drive the same way after I ran over what looked like a piece of paper. It turned out to be a piece of white sheet metal that kicked up and sliced my tire, punctured my oil tank and scratched the side of my Porsche. I don't run over ANYTHING now.

Here are the pics of the CLK. The shot in the street was totally stock and the one in the vineyard was with shorter pads. They only gave me about 1/2 inch but since the wife drags the front bumper as it is, I probably won't go lower.
AHHHHHH my mom just called with the word that shes getting the clk towed to prestige motors because she got 2 flat tires! I'm actually waiting for her call to pick her up...ughhhh i shall take pictures when I get there. She said she hit a pothole or something on 280 i believe...ill bring more details of the story later
Thanks. Porsche is a great marque but they sure put the oil cooler in a stupid place in the RF wheel well.

The Porsche is gone. I sold it to a friend of mine who lives in the sticks. It was painted a similar color called Prussian blue that would look purple under certain light. Kind of like a pearl paint job in blue. It also had a blue top, leather and wheel centers. I saw it a few weeks ago and it doesn't have the charm it once had. I'm liking the CLK better.
Thanks. It's called Azure blue (I know it's redundant) and was not on the main options list. It was buried in the back someplace under special (read $$$$$) options. I only wish I got the charcoal inside because the ash is a B!TCH to keep clean!

My Black Opal CLK has that same pearl effect... depending on the light and angle, the color changes between Dark Blue, Dark Green, Purple & Black... very cool color...
