Tell us what getting flogged by a chick car feels like. The CLK63CAB is no slouch right up to the electronic limit that you reach in 4th gear@6000rpm.

Lol just came across this. I live in LA so I'm not surprised. A lot of LA gay guys are pretty accomplished abd if you watch any of the reality shows like million dollar listings or others that take place in LA with a gay guy in them, you will see a 7 series haha

There's noting feminine about 481hp. There are lots of great cars in roadster form.

I mean you could just not care what people think, I personally don't like CLK cabs just cause I don't like the soft top look, CLK Coupe and CLK BS is bad ***. I like the SLK55s cause of the nose but needs to look a little more aggressive, maybe wider wheel arches and tires? When I was down to buying a Porsche 911 turbo cab (997), and an SL65, I picked the 65 just cause of that hardtop, If I wasn't looking for a convertible prob would have been a big toss up since the 911s can hold 4 with 2 Adults, and 2 Kids.

But the guys are right CLK seem to be chick mag, Every time I go out tho, chicks love the SL but if I have a friend in the car, he'll tell a girl you have to sit in his lap lol. But my GF loves the hardtop convertible on the SL.

If you want your CLK Cab to look more aggressive maybe do a wide body like a DTM or a BS or anything on that line? Any wide body will make your car look more manly if you really don't want to worry about driving a chick car if that's your opinion of it

So if a beetle had 500+ HP engine that would automatically make it not feminine? Giving a car AMG treatment doesn't automatically make it manly. I'm not ragging on the CLK only, I'm just saying in general. Again this is only my opinion. I don't believe engine and specs itself can make a car manly or "not feminine"

That would make the car a sleeper. Sleepers are some of the funnest understated cars on the road. A car being girly is really subjective and everyone will have their opinions. Some people are secure with what they drive others have complexes and wonder if a car is girly.

My opinion of girly cars are underpowered entry level cars someone with limited knowledge of cars would purchase.

We all kind of conceive this dimension in different perspective.

I watched an old movie the other day from 1968 - 1971, I like old movies the gals were free loving and the muscle cars were the best of the best. Charlton Heston was pumped up starring as a semi retiring football player in the mid to late 30ish age. Fighting with the aspect of retiring football and balancing a wife and a girlfriend.
His ride was a 1965-6 Red Ford Mustang cab w white interior.
Its all good no matter what you choose to drive. The people that ridicule you for your ride do not have the knowledge that you have gained from driving a real car.
I restored a big block ranchero back in the late eighties that became magazine quality in muscle Car Classics. (Peterson Publications). It was 2k lacquered red.

All the Best, Gator

So I drove to S. Cal. to buy a CLK63A. I was thinking about the "girl car" thing on the way, and decided that in fact the car I was going to buy is a girl. Looks better with the top down, cries on demand, and has more heart than you expect.

And... the fact that you will not be comin' round drooling on it is all to the good, if you ask me.

Now, the name? Helga? Or perhaps the name of my grandmother from Austria...

Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio (Former 4x AMG owner)
Had the CLK63 Convertible for 3.5 years as one of my 4 AMGs that I've owned, and it was one of my favorites staying in the stable longer than my previous 2009 C63 and 2010 E63. Finally sold it 2 weeks ago to get a 2014 E63 S. Had the pleasure of driving the CLK63 a week after selling it and taking delivery of the E63 S. Trust me, the CLK63 is a VERY fast and interesting car to drive.

Anyone who would dare call it a "chick, girly, or gay car" is absolutely an ignorant fool. Definitely the sign of a small mind not worthy of debate and incapable of recognizing greatness. Hope AMG does not take guidance from this particularly vocal demographic.

I think CLK63 cab is a girl's car, and so is a Porsche Carrera Turbo - as they're guys' cars too!
Bottom line, regardless of guy or gal, it will bring TONS of smiles to their faces
