clk55 amg convertible , looking for SRS Module , after fault codes were checked
hey guys can someone please help my friend has a MB CLK55 AMG Convertible and he had all the testing done for the SRS light being on and the mechanic told him it was either the "SRS Module" or a "Low Voltage Issue" is anyone familiar with what was said to him.. as well would anyone be able to point me in the right direction to obtain the SRS Module. hopefully someone else has had this same issues and i know i could just read all the threads to maybe find out more but even after reading them all i still need some assistance from someone more versed in obtaining the item or has had the same problem before and resolved it, ive heard seat belt buckle sensor , seat pad sensors , child seat sensor, airbag control module , srs sensor module, clock spring...... but i havent seen anything definitive about a SRS MODULE and i also need to know where its located , the mechanic told him its behind the radio but i seem to think its under the passenger seat .

It is not under the front seats. I think the module is behind the radio mounted on the tunnel. You. have. a lot of testing first.
Bad/good timing mine blinks once in a while at me since repairing r door systems. I have
to do some serious digging.

2003 CLK SRS light stays on after changing drivers seat belt unit
I replaced my driver's side seat belt winder/pre-tensioner unit because the winder spring broke. Now I get the SRS light and when I try to clear the codes the diagnostic computer gives this msg: "Resistance value out of range"
My replacement seat belt unit is the correct one for my 2003 CLK. Any suggestions?

My seat belt pre tensioner stopped working? No fault codes show. Merc, dealer found all SEEMS OK up to the SRS unit. Dealer says SRS MAY Need replacing? The signal is entering SRS unit but not being sent out to the pre tension motor?
Any ideas please?

I found out mine has been replaced through the car fax. The 203 is a C? class. yes (204)
The location should be similar for most located on the trans tunnel any were from the radio to mid console level. Water or coffee, (beer) spilt in the console will ruin the electronics in this area.
My friends ML430 shifter got wet and sent the car into limp - mode.
