RARE CLK GTR #17 of 25

This is by far my favorite car ever built. Nice to see they are going strong, unfortunetly I will never be able to afford one because they seem to be going up in price.

2002 CLK 55 AMG cabriolet Eurocharged
That is a beautiful car thanks for sharing this.
I am interested in the engine/transmission demographics as well. It will be on my to do list of lottery winnings if it ever happens.

Cheers, Gator or GTR

CLK 63 AMG
Surely an exquisite exotic. Thanks for posting the pics. I've never seen such a thorough set of photos of this rare car.

You bring up a subject I find very interesting in your post. That you've found a stand alone favorite car. I had chosen a favorite in the CLK 63 and feared that upon finally owning my dream, that I would begin the process of buyer's remorse and eventually would crave another car.

At least for me, the CLK 63 AMG remains my perfect fit. There are so many criteria to consider...and surely there are faster tighter more modern offerings to aspire to own, but I measure the success of my vision by the smile on my face. My car is the most satisfying piece of engineering I've ever owned and with every drive, continues to exceed my expectations.

Life in an MB AMG is Good.

Seriously. I know there are better cars out there for specific purposes... M3 better for the track, sports cars better for getting attention, and Luxo rockets better for comfy road tripping.

But I find the CLK63 to be absolutely the most FUN of anything, elegant to boot (black on black w/ burl walnut and chrome), without getting the unwanted kind of attention. IE go to jail attention.

Absolute badness under a civilized veneer.
