buying a used Clk55Amg 2004 with 115k

Hi everyone ! i really need advice ...

So i m about to buy a Clk 55 amg 2004 that has 115000 miles.
i checked its carfax and it seems fine, so now i m going to check it through an authorized workshop.
But still i needed to know your opinion about the engine life and in case there is something in particular i need to check on the car ...

Thank you all !

No nothing really. Just check the glove box opens and closes. Otherwise they are bullet proof. A good shop will pick up any neglect.

Least you can do is check the oil, water level, trans fluid, brakes (pads, rotors). Shocks, struts, know before hand what the car may need immediately and in the near future. By checking the fluids you can see if the people selling the car are on top of things.

If the oil is black, the trans fluid very dark and no water in the overflow, low level of water in the radiator, you know no one gave a schit.

I bought mine a few months ago. Same Year with 110k. Solid Cars IMO.

Ive done the general repairs:

- Valve Cover Gaskets Leaking
- Thrust Arm Bushings- Shot
- Tranny Service- Tranny Fluid was leaking
- Spark Plugs

Car drives like new again

Essentially if you get a proper check done then you don't need to worry. There is nothing special or unusual that goes wrong with these cars except the stupid glove box latch.

I've had my 03 for a year, 127,000km no problems at all.

Hi again,
Thank you guys for all the info ...
Does anyone of you know a tuning company that ships worldwide, state prices clearly, and might have spare parts too.
If yes please send me the links.
Thank you !
