hello all, new to the forum here, just got a 2001 black clk55 amg, and absolutely LOVE it. it truly is "the beast" ;^)) any way, what is the best recommended wheel cleaner for the factory rims? thanks.

Welcome Any mods? Where are you located?
edit: As far as cleaner goes, wash them with soap and water frequently. Wax them monthly. They'll stay as good as new.
p.s. I've used PS21 with good results on stubborn wheels too.

waxing wheels
I read your comment about waxing wheels. I've never heard of doing this before...what kind of wax do you use?? How often do you do it? Are you sure this is safe for the wheels' finish?

Wax them monthly.....I takes almost no time Safe on painted wheels? Heck yeah...it's just wax

Are you referring to stock CLK55 wheels? If so, those are painted (with a polished/clear-coated lip). Most other 'alloy' wheels are clear-coated, so yes, waxing them is okay as well
I would avoid using wax on non-sealed polished wheels, but chrome is okay.
