2002 CLK 55 AMG cabriolet Eurocharged
I have a W124 Hammer kit from ED (not installed yet). The finishing looked rough at first appearance.
After careful study the bumper outer mouldings actually cover the manufacturing blemish, I was kind of harsh with customer service when opening the box, and they said return- it no question asked.
I decided to keep the kit after discovering the bumper inserts will cover the blemishes.
Materials are high composite plastic/fibrerglass compound, lightweight and flexible. highly resistant to crack and tear familiar with fiberglass.
As much abuse these covers will see over regular commuting, They seem easiest to repair material wise, Cannot speak for the W208/W209 model in the photo.
7.0 liter Fake Hammer coming mabye.
