W208 track car build
I missed second half day around track and oh yeah missed the first day of track because fuel pump relay went bad and car won't start
this was after shop doing cage took 2 weeks longer than expected to finish and had to pick up car the night before and they are 400 miles away from me. So much easier if I bought Porsche and just tracked that but having old Benz passing Ferrari around track is priceless

Very nice. Where is your home track?
Got the seats from another member here who had them in his clk BS.
Home tracks for me lime rock and Watkins glen.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
WGI is one of my favorite tracks. Just came back from there. Unfortunately, I am not able to take my car to Lime Rock. Exhaust is too loud! Do you have a video with you car on WGI?

thanks for complements. finally put up my video from lime rock, sorry for bad quality. i'm always running late to these things and never properly setup my camera (most of the time i forget it

im sure i have a video somewhere from Glen, but need to look for it. i usually do around mid 2:20s. i will try to go back again this year but havent looked at schedule yet. will let you know when i do.
See exhaust leak

Tying the rear nearest the rear strut and the front pillar mounts seems best.
Any snapshots?

Should be entertaining.
HPDEclk55, feel free to give me shout if you have any questions. I'll be glad to help where I can. Biggest recommendation is kW v2, lighter wheels, stop tech pads + ss lines and motul brake fluid. This will be cheapest way to get car track ready.
I did both roll cage and sunroof delete at the same time, not sure which provided best benefit but car def feels and handles better. It's Not needed but it's all part of "bigger" project. Goal for next year is cf driveshaft + clk dtm/slr tcu tune from renntech. Oh and fan delete.
