FadedBlackSocks Intro And Progress Thread...
Hi all, I've been lurking the forums for a while and finally decided to share my story. Here is my 05 CLK55 and pics of what it has been through during my year of ownership. Enjoy!
In need of a good detailing:
Res delete day after purchase:
Fast forward a few months - the week after I bought wheels and tires, and the same day my coilovers were delivered, I walk out to see someone had hit my car the night before at my workplace parking lot. I work at night so I'm literally the only car in the lot. I'm 90% sure I know who hit it, but unfortunately my car was literally parked in the spot just out of frame from the security cameras.
Filed a claim with insurance, fixed the damage, and off to the shop it went to get coilovers installed:
Shoutout to:
- Gary@Suvneer for the lip
- Jkiddd33 for the diffuser
- NewShockerGuy for the COMAND unit (bought the car with a semi-functioning one and can finally change the radio station after a year!)
- My brother, babyboigsxr, for finding this car, telling me to buy it, and sentencing me to Debt Row. (And for getting my calipers painted)

Thanks all!
I was looking for more pics but couldn't find any. Then I realized, I always had you take my car to the shop whenever I had anything done.
I'll be sure to take pics next time the car is on the lift for various reasons. And maybe a video for sound too.
