I checked in on the new member forum last week but I just wanted to swing by here and say hello. I bought an 05 CLK55 AMG in Cubanite Metallic Silver (aka Pewter) about a month ago and I have been waiting for a decent day to give it the cleaning it deserves so I could take some proper pictures. Awesome, not a lot of options on mine but i do have the 9 speaker comand nav, rear retractable sunvisor, and speed adaptive steering (?). I am surprised how different the color looks under natural light vs artifical light
I agree, the car is nothing short of amazing considering it is 11+ years old. I am coming over from a 2014 shaker edition challenger (5.7L) and i cant believe how much better the 05 CLK is. I keep looking for reasons to leave the house so I can drive it

Yes the color changes a lot. Good luck with your new baby! I have your options plus parktronic (not very accurate) and the pneumatic driver's seat. The car came with Eiback lowered springs. I've added B8 Bilsteins to the front and RacingBrake floating calipers front and rear.

I havent before but now that you mention it I think it might just call her Jolene being that my wife is starting to get concerned about how much time we are spending together...not to mention the money I am secretly spending on her.
Lovely car and colour. Congrats and welcome. I have the on start button on my shifter knob which I use now and then when I am lazy to get the key out of my pocket. Mine is 2004 model however.
