I will post the dyno graph when I get home from work. Sorry for the delay, but it sucks how adulting gets in the way of fun stuff sometimes.
So, I got the tune from Eurocharged last year. I was never able to get the car to recognize the tune. I tried a few times and then gave up until I found out about a local shop here in Rochester. BERG Racing is well respected and has had good luck in the past with fine tuning the files from Eurocharged. They did a couple Crossfires with excellent results.
I dropped my car off with BERG last Monday and explained my situation. John (the owner) and Rick (the tuner) were confident they would be able to get the tune to work. I was excited that they were going to be able to get to the car last week because in addition to the shop, they also run a race team and have been very busy this summer. I got a call Tuesday saying that the car was done and I could pick it up.
Results.... Less than spectacular. As stated earlier in this thread (and in an e-mail I got from Eurocharged) they claim a 25hp and 22lb-ft increase over stock. I went from 274hp to 279hp and 300lb-ft to 319lb-ft. That is 5hp and 19lb-ft overall. I have not contacted Eurocharged to voice my concerns. I have been waiting until I calm down a little, but I don't feel like 5hp and 19lb-ft gains are enough to justify the $800 I gave them (not to mention the $237 I gave BERG, but that is on me).

Did you ever email Jerry at Eurocharged? I had the same troubles with my car not reading the tune. I emailed him and he did a few modifications to the tune and I immediately felt the difference. The customer service at Eurocharged is amazing.

I will be sending them an e-mail this weekend explaining what happened. I didn't want to write it too soon after I got the car back because I want them to actually help me out... if I talked to them Tuesday or Wednesday, I'm sure I would have gotten a "Too bad so sad" response to my poorly worded e-mail. I understand that Eurocharged has an excellent reputation and I do not want to sully that by speaking to soon.

Are you running stock exhaust?
Remember the stock exhaust is so restricted the potential of the beast will lie dormant.
One of the reasons these cars just keep going, going and going. The stock tune is not bad until you unleash it.
I just had Jerry retune for 550 cc injectors and increased fuel pressure. I may get a dyno fore/aft. (winter/spring) as time permits.
Cheers, Gator

Stock exhaust with the exception of a muffler delete. I just ordered new exhaust manifolds and will be deleting the secondary cats. I am hoping this will help a lot. Over the winter I should be replacing the head gaskets and while the heads are off I will send them to a machine shop and have them work some voodoo or something.

I realize the exhaust can open things up, but the stated gains from Eurocharged, 25hp and 20tq, is from a stock configuration. Sounds like the tq figures are in line, but what happened to the hp?
I'm actively searching for a good tune and I appreciate the info and heads up Johawk79.
Eurocharged please clear this situation up as I am now on the fence about his tune.

look at the dyno....now look close around 3000rpm. You gained MASSIVE hp and tq. That's where you want the power, under the curve!
Mustang dynos always read low and your top almost looks like your out of air. Check/replace filters.

You are never going to gain much in the way of top end hp without dealing to the manifold-downpipe restriction. I agree with the area under the curve, looks like quite large gains.

Large gains, but not very useable gains being so low in the RPM range. Let's say I go to the drag strip, after 1st gear the car doesn't see under 4500(ish) RPM. The air filters are K&N and were cleaned and oiled at the beginning of the season.

Drag strip no, street use absolutely. I would look at mid length or ideally full long tube headers to increase your top end. Nothing else appears to be worth it with these engines without going to forced induction.

No one makes headers for these cars. Tubular manifolds, yes. But no actual headers. Eurocharged did at one point. Kleeman did at one point... No more. One of the guys at Kleeman told me that America Racing did a custom set for a customer about 10 years ago, but the likelihood that they have a jig; no way. There is a company here in Rochester NY called STM Tuned and they do custom turbo manifolds for cars (primarily the Evo) and they can probably make me a custom set. That will likely cost me in the $4k ball park for the labor and materials. I did just purchase some tubular manifolds. There is another post about that.

I am in a similar situation. Shipping around the world makes these off the shelf w209 options less viable and I do not like the quality of the kleemann ones. Custom full length is the way to go. I was quoted $3k from a top local shop which I would do if I had a second car for the downtime.

Im confused by your statement as you will spend most of your daily driving in the low rpm range, hence that's exactly where you would want your power gains.

Those gains are at WOT, right? I guess the only thing that doesn't suck about this situation is the fact that my gas mileage didn't change. Live and learn I guess. I thought that the gains I was quoted would be peak numbers (I understand the torque number is there... just not where I'd like it to be) The next AMG I get will be tuned by Kleeman or Renntec instead.
