W210 18" E55 Monoblock wheels on my W208 CLK?

I love the look of the 18" monoblock rims from the w210 E55 AMG and was wondering if they would fit on my W208 CLK. The only thing I am worried about is rubbing against the fender, as they are 1" larger than factory W208 CLK rims. They are the same width (I believe), but would I have to worry about any rubbing on the inbound side of the wheel?

AMG
AMG fenders were rolled from the factory back at that time. Not sure about now.

I used 235-40-18 in front and 265-35-18 in rear without issue (and mine is euro-spec so a tad lower.)

I could not use these same tires with the AMG SL 2-piece wheels (from the F1 Safety Car), the offset was 25mm.

In case people are still wondering
These are 100% factory installed on my CLK55

Only difference are tyre sizes

225/40 up front
255/35 at the rears

For those that might still be interested.

I upgraded my tire sizes from
Front: 225/40 to 235/40
Rear: 255/35 to 265/35
Tire Brand: Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2

I also installed 12mm spacers from H&R at the rear only.
As a preventative maintenance issue, I also replaced the front lower control arms.
And installed camber bolts for wheel alignment purposes.

All good, no rubbing on the fronts at full lock. Rides great and firm.
