Hit The REV limiter..OOOPS.... Bad??
I was showing off with one of my friends in my 01 CLK55 and bumped up against the rev chip....Is this bad?

I believe it begins cutting the fuel off to the injectors, therefore the stuttering.

That AMG V8 spins to the redline quickly, no?

I decided to quit manually shifting it after I hit the rev-limiter several times in first and second gears

Now, I mainly use it for downshifting or for holding a gear on a mountain run.
