I'm a brand new member! I've been following some of the threads for the last week or so and it's great to know this forum is here.
June 14th last year my wife and I put a downpayment on a CLK 55 Cabriolet, Brilliant Silver, Alpaca Grey Nappa Interior, Ash top. Today i heard from my dealer and the car is scheduled to arrive in LA on May 1. Should be at the dealership by May 15. Almost a whole year!!! I can't beleive how long it takes to get one of these cars.
We are very excited but the next three weeks are going to be tough!
Living in the Colorado Rocky Mountains with loads of curvy mountain roads, would there be any interest in getting a group of CLK owners together and touring the Million Dollar Highway maybe later this summer of during Fall Foliage?

Thanks Chip, I'll be keeping an eye out for them. Speaking of radar...what's the best radar detector (or scrambler?) available? Maybe this question should go to a different thread?
