Where is a good place to get switched 12V power?

I'm installing a bluetooth adaptor using the AUX input. Where is a good place to tap into switched power int the cabin so I can run it to the glove box? I have an 07 CLK63. Thanks

Thanks GatorMB for being helpful. I appreciate it. However, it turns out that I don't have to tap into any wiring. I found this nifty bluetooth music streaming device (Bovee) which plugs into my existing iPod interface. Works great and fidelity is awesome.

BTW for all the other helpful people, First thing I do is use the search which didn't bring up any useful information.

Switched power

Thanks for sharing your find.
if it is going to be a permanent installation. A fuse holder can be located that is unused.
A 12v testlight and some hookup wire will suffice.
When in doubt install a fuse to protect the new circuit from shorting out.
Cheers Gator

try searching google not just the forum. If you want forum answers first include mbworld in your search.

How about if we just don't talk! Lord knows, this is a car forum and we certainly don't want to talk about our cars do we? Or perhaps we all have arthritis and it's just too painful to tap the keys. I find that ignorant and snobbish and I don't need that. I've been a member of SLK, NSX, LOTUS, PORSCHE, and AUDI forums and people actually liked to talk and share information about their cars.

Unfortunately, this is the most stagnant of all. BTW. Don't feel too bad...... after all, it's the Internet.

I'm always down to talk about cars. It just gets old having the same conversation over and over. If you look I try to bnb help as much as I can but help yourself first. It's not that hard.
