Can't find cluck from front end

I have been getting my car ready for a road trip. There is a clunk noise from the front that I thought had to be anti-swaybar bushings but when I inspected them they look fine. I have already replaced the upper and lower control arms as well as the anti-swaybar links. It has new pads and rotors too. I inspected the strut mount and it looks good also. Any ideas?

The last clunk I had while backing up turned out to be drag link. Caliper bushings will make clunk as well
W208 2 started Clunking on me to be expected. My driveway is hard on ball joints as well.
I would not let it disturb travel plans unless the car pulls or shakes real bad,

Cheers, Gator

What does it take to reproduce the noise? Is it when going over bumps, accelerating, braking, turning? When I first got my CLK it had worn out LCA bushings that I thought were causing a very loud clunking. It turned out to be a bad motor mount.

If i am in revers and hit the brakes it makes the noise. some times a hardish turn with a bump in it will make the noise. I have replaced all the bushings and mounts recently.

If you've already ruled out the suspension bushings I'd check the motor mounts.

To inspect steering and suspension components is not that hard to do.
jack the wheel off the ground grab the wheel at 9 and 3 o clock. rock back and forth if play is evident the culprit is found in steering drag link, idler arm or tie rods.
Ball joints are different. With the car jacked up get a buddy wife, dog etc to (gentle) rock the wheel from the ground to up position.A 2x4 placed under the tire and slow pry the tire upward.
Inspect the ball joints for movement. They should follow the movement of the control arm. any excess movement in the ***** socket will be evident in this test.
Cheers, Gator

I have done some testing and literally everything is new now. Ill ty the board. I am stating to think part of the noise i am hearing is the pads shifting. Before I was getting some swaybar cluck but l lubed them and haven't heard that again.
