Need help with door lock replacement.
I'm clearly missing something...Does the glass have to come out? Does the guide move?
Any direction appreciated getting this weird shape thing in.
this ain't no square peg round hole!

I had to remove the window in order to get everything in, I created a post when I tackled this job (link to the post below):

I did drivers door on our coupe recently.
did a quick you tube video and attacked, it came out well.
Remove the chrome trim inside the door jamb, remove the window guide, remove the inner door window guide (screw on bottom of door as well).
remove vachume pipe.
Insert key into key lock on drivers and use appropriate alen wrench to loosen the handle 2.5 or 3 mm.. remove door handle.
Remove the actuator. Reverse all directions when going back. Window never had to remove.
Be careful working with door lock and IR cabling. fragile and subject to easy damage. I sealed mine while RTV while reassembling.
Hopes this helps a bit,
Cheers Gator

I am pretty confident the window guide is my problem.
Unbolted at the bottom but not sure what/where next.
THANKS Gator
