Looking for advice on selling price for my ‘05 CLK55 cab
Time to sell my car. It has 61.5K miles. In the 10 years I’ve had it it’s been a relatively trouble free and the only time I had a mechanical issue was a crank position sensor needing replacement several years ago.
Cubanite silver (like pewter I’d say) with black interior. Beautiful wood inside. Keyless go ( all functions work except being able to open the door with it ), 6 disc CD, Heated seats with a lot of adjustments although the adjustment for the additional thigh support doesn’t work. It does have a few idiosyncrasies and is may be best used as a weekend or leisure car. One of those reasons is the bi-xenon head lights stay on all the time. Don’t know why. Cabriolet top is in terrific condition. Rear Michelin’s are new
any advice on pricing or otherwise is appreciated. Thx
Kind of depends on what those other idiosyncrasies are and how soon you want to sell it. I just paid $11,750 for a 2004 with 88,000 miles, only issues are minor seepage from the oil filter housing, a torn CV boot, and some of the seat air adjustments don't work.

Thanks for the advice! It's hard to accurately capture the color so not sure it's everyone's cup of tea. But I think it's a bargain. Only big thing I've done is replace a crank position sensor years ago

I love the dark silver - has more character than the typical bright silver we see constantly.
the car looks great and based on the pictures you posted looks like its Peweter, which is a fantastic color IMHO, besides Alabaster White, Peweter is the 2nd best looking color on a merc from this Era (early-mid 2000's). If you are not in a rush to sell the car i would price it for for $15.9 and see what happens from there, at the end of the day Summer is just around the corner so that should work in your favor price wise
It looks nice. If everything works and you get those items taken care of and it gets a professional cleaning I do not see why $15,000+ is out of the ballpark.
From the pictures the car looks in excellent condition. There is no way you should take less than $15k. I just purchased an 04 with 40k also in excellent shape.
New tires, nearly new brakes and completely serviced recently, all fluids and plugs and breathers and valve covers. I paid $17k as excellent service history, 2 owner
and lots of recent $$$ updating.
