WTB / Looking for a 2005 CLK55 Coupe
Hello, new to the forum but long time lurker. Not sure if this post is allowed here but feel free to move it necessary. I recently missed out on a 05 CLK55 with 109k miles for about 10k locally so I'm back on the hunt. I want all the options except navigation, and ideally the brush aluminum trim over the wood grain. I'm located in the Bay Area btw. This will be my weekend car since I already own a commuter. IF anyone have a lead hmu.

i know that’s why i’m a little pissed i lagged on the one that just sold. it was local too. it had all the options too except the brush aluminum trim that i wanted. arghhh

I have one that I daily that I could part ways with for the right price. I'm on the east coast though and about 120k miles currently. It has the silver trim but I had a shop wrap in CF vinyl. It can easily be removed.

Sounds about right if I were to guess. Good luck in your search, it is hard to find the 05s. The bigger brakes, quad exhaust, and updated interior are worth the wait! I also have an 03 CLK55 and spent nearly $4k just to get the brakes put on 🙈

just have to be patient. worst case find a c55 lol. what color is yours btw?

what type of maintenance records do you have? i’m not a fan of high mileage sports car unless it’s maintained well with records.

I have receipts for most of the work. The car was serviced at a local independent shop that specializes in MBs. I have had the car since 2011. If you want to see my records I can email them to you. One warning, this car eats rear tires. I get about 10k miles on the rear.
