Attempting true dual exhaust on cab

Hey all,
So i've got some plans for my W208 CLK 55 cab.. i've got headers sitting in the closet, which will be installed while exhaust is done as well.
Here's my current dilemma:

I snagged this pic when I was getting my wheels and tires balanced (not sure why they needed a whole body lift).. As you can see, the right side has virtually no room for any kind of pipes to be ran, due to the battery and spare tire well. This is my current plan (apologies for my terrible mspaint skills):

Basically, I am removing both secondary catalytic converters along with resonator, replacing them with x-pipe, cutting tips off of factory muffler, and running each tip to it's own respective x-pipe outlet with it's own magnaflow muffler (two mufflers in total)
As far as I know, this way that i'm planning will yield the best possible performance for a dual exhaust, yes, I know only one side is actually connected to the exhaust, however having each tip on the left side connected to it's own outlet on the x-pipe, it's virtually the same as running one outlet on each side of the car. Of course I don't really like the idea of having false tips, but the look is killer in my opinion and I don't see any other way without modifying the frame (which is what I am trying to stay away from).
Magnaflow parts are:
x-pipe: 10791
muffler (2x): 14196.
Any suggestions? Thanks guys.

similar to what i have, but i'm using two mufflers as i'm running dual pipes all the way to back. try to go with 2.5in pipes if you can (if you plan to superchar 3in might be better.

also, suggestion on xpipe placement, i found putting it closer to engine works best but is difficult to make work.

That's the plan! I am putting the x-pipe as close to the headers as i can, and I will be running two mufflers as well. Sounds like we will have almost identical setups. How's the sound and performance? Any drone?

i think there might be sound clip in my link. it sounds pretty good, its deep and little bit raspy. sounds exotic if you ask me.
regarding, drone, hard to tell with your setup. looks like you will have less restrictive mufflers. also are you running any cats?

I am thinking of using Magnaflow's race mufflers, but I have heard that they are a bit loud, so I may go with standard Magnaflow mufflers. Only cats I am planning to have are the two stock primary cats, the secondary cats have been removed. Do you recommend using another set of cats?

There may not be enough space for (2) 2.5" pipes side by side between the diff and the lower A-arm mount. I ran into this problem on my C55. Yours actually looks like an even tighter squeeze. Is there enough room to stack one pipe on top of the other above that brace?

race shop that set up my exhaust recommended standard MF mufflers as the race ones are way too loud and increase chance of drone. having primary cats is good, i just was not sure if you did as i think you mentioned you had headers?

another thing to note, i found xpipe helped car a lot on top end power but lost little bit of low end torque. i didn't mind as it helps with my track build. if you prefer more of a muscle car sound and low end torque, you should consider h-pipe instead. for non track car, i think this would be better from sound and DD performance.
