CLK 55 AMG with m113k supercharger + 7g-tronic
Has anyone successfully added a supercharger from a m113k engine to the clk55 amg and mated with 7g-tronic? Or m113k with 7g-tronic? Thanks.
I have a 2002 CLK55 and would like to know how it was done and the approx. cost
Thanks
Joe
The 2008 E55 w/ M113K made 516 lb-ft w/ the 5G. The 5 g-tronic is rated to handle Over 700 lb-ft, used in the CL65 twin turbo V12 w/ 738 lb-ft. for example. I would stay with the 5G unless a 7G MCT would work?.
I'm probably going for a tuner program and some kind of improved air filter and exhaust.
With tuning I might get another 15hp or so and better response.
Transmission should be fine for this much more h.p

I just got the Sprint Booster V3 ($300) throttle optimizer and OE Tuner software ($350); feels like a completely different animal! Much much faster out of the gate (no throttle lag) and stays strong throughout the rev range. It feels at least 25% more power at your disposal.

As for the exhaust, just have the secondary cats removed (also resonators if you have them on the W208). The rest of the exhaust is fine, don't wast your money like I did on a Lorinser axle back muffler.
