Hey guys, help needed. One of the hardest times I've had!

Hey guys, so I cut 3 out of 4 of the exhaust flanges connecting the secondary cats to the mid section resonator off since the bolts were so rusted to them.

Now I'm not very sure of a solution for resuming it. Can't find any good split flanges etc.
or info out there

any suggestions or advice would be great.

also while I'm down there, the cats look nice in there I guess but anyone think I should cut them out?

thanks

Think you'd be best off having an exhaust shop fabricate it for you out of quality steel.

I feel ya, and that would be ideal. However my only concern is driving it there having mid section back off the car given heat/back pressure etc

Can you post some pics of the current situation? It may be easier to offer suggestions if we can see what's going on.

awesome joe, thank you! You always come through

3 out of 4 are belled and unable to have a new flange slipped over. Unable to find a "split c" or universal replacement. The only straight non belled coming from passenger side secondary car was the only one I managed to get the bolts out or ironically.

thanks joe!

How big of a hurry are you in? In a couple weeks my entire exhaust system will be available if you are interested in swapping in a setup from a California car with no rust.

In a bit of a rush, and I truly appreciate it. Only thing screwing now is one of the flanges goes on the secondary cat, so even a new mid section would still require me to figure out q flange on that...

I guess your best bet would be to take the pieces to a local exhaust or fabrication shop and ask them what they recommend. I don’t have any good ideas.

it isn't the prettiest...but it's sealed. Lol pretty funny. All autozones only carry a single split flange like that at each location. Biggest hassle was having to wait for them to get them.

hope it holds up for a while.
