I am trying to get some European impact strips for my CLK. After looking at the car from the side, I have decided that the amber lens is completely distracting from the overall flow of the car. Do you sell these parts or can you point me in the right direction to get them. Thanks in advance and look forward to hearing back from you soon!!

Marcus: the impact strips on your car is actually PART of the bumper!! Take a look at your bumper REAL close and you will noticed that it is all in one-piece construction. The only way for you to get rid of the amber lens is to paint the lens in white.

Good idea. Once that side marker is white it will really look nicer imo.
After Harris even said they dont make it for the C55, i had them painted at a shop, here is a pic, sorry for the thread hijack, lol! :p

Neal,
I looks really nice & clean with the side marker gone! BTW, what % of tint did you use on the windows?

Thanks, it really does make it look alot cleaner.
The tint was a long story, i actually did not get what i asked for. I went to my dealer, told the tint guy i wanted 12% tint, he said fine, i go back 2 hours later when the car was done and i see it lighter then what i wanted. He said he did not have any 12% in stock, so he used 24% and said he figured i would like it. I really wanted it much daker so you cant see in at all. I was planning on having it done over. But since the guy was so sloppy i decided this is fine. So, yes its 24%.
Did they use the felt inside to keep the film from scratching? Our dealer here will not tint windows and the guy that I normally use does not put the felt, so I am trying to find another place that will do a job that will meet my standards of installation.

dayme thats one of the hottest c-classes i've seen... the tint and the painted corners really set it off...i'll bet it would look even better with the gunmetal s65 wheels Harris has now, if they fit!!! Originally Posted by BlackC230Coupe

I think i might go with the H&R coilovers or calrsson coilovers. If i went with springs i would do the Renntech springs.
