There was recently a debate about the need for software changes with the use of an LSD. The conclusion was reached that no software updates are required. Not sure what you get from MKB.

you can also get an differential from AMG Manufaktur and Brabus for nearly all Mercedes models.
AMG wants about 3000€ for the CLK55. imho a very good investition.

Here in the US, we can't get any AMG parts from Germany. Do they just sell you the LSD in Europe without asking a question? If that's the case, I'm gonna call my ex-roommate and have him buy me the shocks and LSD from AMG!
