It takes a few months to show up. I recently purchased a Starmark vehicle for someone (six weeks ago), and I carfaxed it today... still doesn't show the purchase, the transfer of title, or anything else.

Exclamation Unquestionably a scam...
Since anyone could sell their CLK55 to any MB dealer for well over that price, why would they bother selling one on E-bay for less?

It's probably one of those Nigerian scams that you see on a daily basis. They e-mail you saying one of their kins has passed away and they need to transfer $30 mln into a bank account, if you help them they'll give you 5% or something of that type.

Same way here, you give them the money and they never send the car over to you. Make sense?
