CLK 350 fuel filter location looked everywhere

I have a fuel pump issue and while I am doing that, I wanted to change the filter.
Is it LOL part of the pump? I am getting all these different answers on where it is.
In front of the drivers rear wheel at the end of the tank NOPE right side behind the right tank NOPE
I took the plastic panels down waste of time .

Fuel pump/filter are located in front of right rear wheel under the chassis and hidden by a plastic cover with three (3) holes. Thanks to Youtube video.....

On a CLK 350. The fuel filter is actually inside the fuel pump and it’s not a filter it’s just the screen on the other side behind the drivers is the sending unit and an eve app sensor. And a eve app sensor, which also has a screen
now the way it works is you have two gas steaks on a CLK350 left side and right side and the pump generally sends it to the drivers side tank through the filter, then to the engine. A lot of people confuse the object behind the driver seat as the pump. It is not the fuel pump. It’s always behind the passenger side seat so if you have electrical connectors visibly showing, you’re looking at the wrong item.
I will say though, I’m surprised that the CLK uses screens for filters instead of an actual in-line filter somewhere
I’m just surprise this is in posted more places and why it’s just the CLK 350 that has decided not to have a fuel filter 2006 up to 2009

I posted that video based on only searching Youtube for a 2000-2002 MB CLK320 which is one of the cars you own. In the video's text below the screen he states:
"This is a step by step tutorial on how to replace the fuel pump and fuel filter on 2000-2002 Mercedes CLK cars. It may work on other CLK's. This video is not intended to be a substitute for getting advice and help from an actual certified professional. I am merely showing how I fixed MY car. How YOU fix YOUR car is entirely your responsibility".
For what its worth.....

So before checking everything else there’s a valve on the fuel rail I push that valve inwards and saw no fuel coming out. Usually it’s under pressure bingo fuel issue so on my particular model and year there are no fuel filters so I knew it wasn’t a clogged filter plus usually with a clogged filter. If you stop logging off the car will restart and then die again.
The chances of being a relay are very slim. There is a video on how to test a relay by adding a positive or -2 the relay and you can hear it click you can find that video somewhere else. So where is the fuel filter and fuel pump. It’s underneath the rear passenger seat know some sites will tell you that there’s two well there are but one is for eve app and tells you the level of the tank on the driver side and the other tells you the level of the gas and is the pump and is the filter.
No before I went and did this, I sprayed some starter fluid in my intake, the air mouth center hole and sure enough the car ran for about 20 second so I knew for sure it was a fuel system error and nothing else
So instead of going to the parts store and spending $280 instead of going to some other sites online and spending 269 I went on eBay and there’s a few of them at $76. Now I would suggest giving them your Vin number, just in case because of the left right scenario in the backseat my understanding is some pumps were on the driver side rear depending on the model.
Now to the removal it’s actually extremely simple the first thing you want to do commonsense is disconnect the negative battery on the Strat tower after you do that do you wanna go in the backseat? There are these two clips where if you were sitting down your calf would be. You pop up those two clips with a screwdriver and it’ll give you access to two nuts that require a 13 mm wrench or socket. Once you take those off the bracket will lift forward, allowing you to lift up the seat what you lift up to see you will see two more nuts holding the straps. Now there is some protective sound material. I call it that you have to lift up to get access to these nuts and anyways that material have to come out when you do the pump, so don’t be shy about lifting it out of the way.
Once the two other nuts are removed, you can take the seat out now once you remove the seat and you remove that thin piece of material you’ll see around black cover that’s for the fuel pump. I know I’m not 100% sure on the socket size I think they’re like 8 mm you unscrew six of them and gently pry up the cover. Now you’re going to see the fuel pump. You really can’t put it in backwards but I suggest taking a picture you’ll understand later why.
So what you Gotta do is you’ve got a spin off this It’s extremely tight you won’t be able to do it by hand. I don’t think you want to do it with a screwdriver because you may chip it some people do I suggest taking a wood block and gently using it as leverage to slowly start to hit it while spinning it off take your time eventually after lightly tapping it it’ll spin off once it spins off the fuel pump itself will pop up you’ll see what I mean. It’s two pieces and it’s spring loaded. Again there are some videos on this if you look for it on the Internet , there’s a rubber gasket there. Most kids will give you a replacement. I didn’t change mine. I like the original stuff cell you take the cap off you take the rubber gasket off the plastic piece will pop up because it’s spring loaded. Move that out of the way now carefully there is a black hose. There is a gold hose you want to just simply pick them up there kind of pushed in on clips then there’s an electrical connector that’s pretty much straight forward just pinch it and pull it straight up. The last one is a bit tricky. You’ll need your screwdriver for that what I did was there is a tab on the hose believe it or not that if you push it in it allows you to lift it up this part is I will admit a bit tricky because you really can’t hold the pump in the screwdriver and pull up the hose you’re gonna have to pull on the hose why you push on this tab with a screwdriver the puppet sell for hit the casing of the seat and release take your time.
When you put it all back together again and don’t forget the new kids I would suggest putting the leveler on before you install it. Obviously, you’ll see what I mean. Match up everything before you install it with the old one to make sure the leveler is connected properly, and in the right direction, so what are you do now you put the new pump in the tank you connect the black hose by just pushing it down into the clips then you connect the gold hose then you do your electrical making sure the Warriors aren’t interfering with any of the hoses in the last two items is you reconnect your electrical connector and then the black hose that had that special clip system.
Now you put the new gasket or the old gasket and you put the spring pressured cover again this just bounces up and down. It’s a funny design I still don’t understand it. You put it in the right direction that you took it often refer to your picture and you gently screw the plastic cap back on now my suggestion is put it on titan by here in the best you can give it a couple of taps with the wooden hammer to screw it back on and see if your car starts before you put everything back together again. So you’re gonna have to reconnect the negative ground cable get back inside your car turn the key and it should start if it does shut it off and finish tightening that plastic spin cap. I don’t know what to call it. I did a pretty good job tightening it. It takes a while I kept on tapping it. Questioning how much more do I do this but obviously we want that snug.
Then it’s simple. Put the black cover back on with the six screws put the seat back on you’re done it literally takes more time to take the seat apart than it does to replace the pump take your time and don’t worry about the gas fumes and all that stuff it really isn’t that bad, I would suggest though if you could to do it outside, I did mine in my garage with the garage door open and the windows down. Good luck.
