'07 Carrera S, '31 A 5W hot rod, 4Runner. Sold CLK55
That stuff looks good but I really don't want to spend 4-6 hours just waxing my car.

I use some fancy turtle wax stuff.

Been using Zaino on my cars for 5+ years. After the initial prep & application, it's a 15 minute job to recoat & maintain. Couldn't be easier or quicker.

I cannot wait to strip and Zaino this black car. I had my Z06 Zaino'd to death what a deep shine it gave and the paint on a chevy is not quite as good as on the AMG

Used it on my '95 Z07 DRM400 Vette (Polo Green Metallic) and the depth of shine was amazing. Used it on the Pewter '05 E55 before the dealer mishap, will use it on the incoming Brilliant Silver replacement car.

See https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/83785-upset-you-could-say-so.html
for the sordid details. Just got the repaired '05 Pewter car back last Tuesday, looks like they did a decent job (can still see some minor paint swirls in very bright sunlight at certain angles).

Nice, it looks like they took pretty good care of you. I bet you will walk all the way around the car next time you get out of service.

I use Meguiar's for everything put the final step....then I use Mother's Carnuba paste wax (no cleaners, polymers or bonding agents in the Mother's paste wax).

Actually, the new procedure is:

1) At the time the vehicle is brought in, and in the company of the service writer, visually inspect the vehicle together from all sides and use a form (e.g., dealer loaner car inspection form) to note any anomalies. Have the service writer note date & time of the inspection and both parties sign, agreeing on vehicle condition at the time it was turned over to the service writer.

2) Upon return of the car, service writer & owner again visually inspect the vehicle together from all sides and note any variances from the original inspection form.

3) Correction or other remedial action for any resulting variances are the responsibility of the dealer.

Live & learn
