I'm currently in Miami Beach attending a conference..... and saw a black W209 CLK55 with a FOR SALE sticker for $7K on Ocean View and I think 14 Street (across Starbucks) last Tuesday....

Tempted to call but don't want to waste any time for something that's too good to be true....

I believe it should be either salvaged (b/c of Hurricane?) or just take over lease / finance.

Posting here just to see whether the owner is an active member of the forum...

Could it have been a mis-print, and it should have read $70k? I bet that it's either that, or it is flood/hurricane damaged as you mentioned. Still, you could easily part out that car for way more than $7k. The wheels, brakes, and most especially the motor would bring in some good money...

I wouldn't mind having a spare motor! A motor that would be the basis for a mega-engine build up. I could take my time, because my car wouldn't be down during the build-up...

I called and left a message. If I get a call back, and this deal is real, I'll pick up the car this week. Then I'll probably just keep the car and say I'm officially collecting AMG's

If the deal does come through, I'll send you $500 for referring me.
