50k MB warranty - last Service for 02AMG
Are there any pointers to draw to the attention of the MB service tech, for corrective action, replacement while under the original warranty??
This product has been pure fun to drive.
Many thanks in advance.
I would suggest (and I'll be doing this myself) to have a qualified independent shop do a once-over prior to expiration. It may cost a couple hours labor, but they would hopefully be able to find any issues that need to be brought up with your dealer.
I can't believe you are at 49K miles already.....I need to drive mine more.

Don't feel bad, I have only 6500 miles on my odometer. I hate living in Michigan

I am really not too concerned, since the beast is running flawlessly and I do have the 2yr. extended MBUSA warranty up to 100k miles through our California connection. (Not Arnold)

Great pic! You should come up for the AMG Photo Shoot on April 30th and be the "official photographer"
2 years? I thought you got the 3 year....in either case, Arnold has nothing on our gal :p

This is a MB extended warranty, which has to be purchased within the first year. Once purchased, it will be in the MBUSA service database, honored by ALL MB service in the USA. I am in it.
As I recall, it was the finance manager, a lady, of the MB dealership in Ca's capitol.
She offered good prices for extended MB warranties.
Perhaps you can do a search, -- or someone else can chime in.
In 2002 I purchased a MB Premium extended warranty through Lisa Lehrbaum at MB Courtesy Motors (Chico, CA). Her contact number was 1-800-655-3535.

Two years ago, Lisa at Chico Motors said, that the next best warranty for MB cars that are out of the first 12 months range is to get the Chrysler-Daimler warranty, which she also sold.
Please let us know what you find out.
