Thanks for all your comments. I am changing the spring pads in the front to a #1 or #2. The hood is staying but I am getting the sports grill powder coated black and the AMG hood emblem. I am also looking into getting a carbon fiber rear diffuser, carbon fiber roof wing and a carbon fiber wing. If you guys know where to source these parts please let me know.

I also have all the stock parts for my car available if anybody is interested. Here is the list:

-17" AMG monoblock wheels (need new back tires)
-Bilstein (stock shocks for clk55 AMG version)
-stock springs (I think they are eibach)
-stock hood, excellent condition (silver)
-alpine soundsystem custom made to fit the clk trunk (2 alpine m300 amps, 2 alpine 12" type r subs, 2 1.0 farad caps, and a beauty board custom made for the clk trunk)

if anyones interested in any of these items please send me an email at gujurati03@aol.com and I will send you pictures and the price

Thanks

Nice car! How much lighter is the cf hood compared to the stock hood? Also where did you get it, do you need hood pins, and how much?

No longer car shopping...
Hmmm.... Hood to offset the weight of the 19's? If you were REALLY worried about weight, you probably would not have put 19's on it in the first place. I think the black really takes away from the luxury look of the car. Hope I will like it better once the grill is changed out.

Thanks, I found their site and pricing! But how much lighter is "significantly lighter" than stock? 60lbs? Could you take a guess?

Edit: Also how does the fit and finish look up close? Are there any significant gaps?

Thanks for all your comments, but the hood is staying. You really have to see it in person, the picture does not do justice. And the carbon fiber matches the wheels, the new dark tint(not pictured), the euro plate(not pictured), amg flat hood emblem(not pictured), black grill and carbon fiber wing(coming soon).

Thanks again and keep the comments coming.

could I ask you a small favor?

Wonder if you could tell me the height (in inches or mm) from the ground to the center of your fender arches, front and rear? How's your ride quality? Generally, the Eibachs ride a bit better than the H&R/s, and I've got the koni's too. Thenks if you can help. Looks really nice...
