2 Black Series at the House
I haven't posted in quite some time, but wanted to let the board know that we have 2 Black Series available. One Black/Black and one Mars Red/Black. Anyone in the neighborhood, please stop by and check them out. I think the red one might be sold, but the black one is currently sitting on the showroom floor!!! By the way, the ride is outragous and the exhaust note is right out the "Muscle Car" era!!

Sorry that the pics are not of better quality, but I was trying to show the sick CF rear diffuser and rear spoiler.

We just had a the same black CLK63 black series here at my local dealer in MD. Sold in 24hrs... I'm lucky I was able to see it in person.
Sweet ride!

In car conscious SoCal, they are selling over MSRP. Walters sold their's for 25K over window. Limited production, super build quaility...when you see it in person and got to have it.

Wait a month until the die hard people have bought their CLK BS cars and then we will see what the market really looks like. I predict window will be a good price and I know of one car that went for 1k under window.
Great car. I sat in one and loved it.

I went to HOI today after work around 630pm. Saw the black one, took a pic, looked at the sticker price and left. Nice car, but $40,000 over MSRP is crazy. I asked if they could open the car and show me the interior but they denied my request. Asian kid who looked like he was in his twenties said it was locked, and that they don't let people sit in the car, "not for a car that's $40,000 over MSRP." I tried to ask another question, but he just walked off. Not very friendly at HOI. I still prefer Caliber over HOI.
For the price their asking I'd rather spend the money on a Porsche 911 turbo. I think a 911 turbo is a better car for the street and track. At least the 911 has 4 seats.

Mark... a suggestion. If you're going to put pics of a car on the web, you should change cameras to a Nikon D80 or an equally high-res Canon and put at least a 900 pixel photo of the car you're selling. Those small thumbnails that only expand to 320kb or so do not do your product any justice at all! Magwheel

Some will get a big profit because someone had to have that car RIGHT NOW. But that creates nothing but bad karma for future sales. I bet you will go back to your sales person for future deals but I bet the person getting taken for a ride on a CLK BS wont return to his place of business ones he realizes he got used and abused.
Enjoy your car. I with I could have found an allocation slot.

All the fuss will die down soon enough, and the good 'ol MB depreciation will set in.
Nevertheless, its a great car and I can't wait to set up the ECU on one and let some hp free!

Of Course!! I think the $40k over scares off people, but that's what the "powers that be" wanted. Realistically, I think it will sell for anywhere between $15k to $20k over, at least on the 1st one.
P.S.
U still got the Kleemann W210?

wow, do what you guys have to do, but none of our cars will be sold over MSRP...we have however gotten MSRP on both BS so far and the third on the way is pre-sold at MSRP

You really can't blame the dealerships on this one. If people are stupid enough to pay over MSRP then they deserve to get bent over. If noone bought the car for over MSRP then the dealerships would have no choice but to lower the price to MSRP and then below. It doesn't seem to be a case of supply and demand.....just a case of I have to have it right now. I'm betting these cars will tank in value after a year just like every other AMG. But I could be wrong.
