Black Series @ MSRP
I have finally talked some sense into my GM on this fantastic car. He will now consider local deals @ MSRP. If anyone is interested, please let me know!

Funny looking back at the post started back on 8-28 "2 Black Series at the House" and now seeing this. Good that you knew better than your management when they decided to price it as "such and such over sticker". I think $40,000 over sticker was the asking price. Love it when the people on the floor know better than the stupid management.
BTW, I posted this info over at 6speed as well so you might get some inquiries from some folks over there that don't frequent this forum.
Good luck on the sale. Great car (but not at $40k over sticker).

Current
With the current state of the economy and the fact the car has been sitting on the dealers floor for a while, paying MSRP just makes no sense at all to me. Wouldn't do it, if the demand was so great for the car it would have been sold long before it hit the floor. Plus as we all know if is going to depreciate VERY FAST.

I've seen mars red and its stunning accenting the carbon fiber better than any of the other colors. Its nothing close to burgandy. But color is an individual choice and some perfer boring silver.

I agree that silver is very common...But considering the Black Series was made to commemerate 40 years of AMG and also taking into account the F1 safety car role and silver being Mercedes-Benz racing color...I think it's the best choice considering the aforementioned as well as resale value.
