Quote: AS,

I was at the recent AMG Pocono event and we got to do a couple 0-60 and slalom runs in a BS. They were showing no respect for break-in procedures as there were about 60 of us flogging these cars with > 150 miles when we started. Granted MB/AMG may not care about long term reliability issues, but one of the instructers didn't seem to be concerned either. He was very excited to be able to take ownership of the red one when AMG was finished with it.

Have fun on the 2nd.

not clear in your post- did you get to do laps in the BS? what configuration of pocono did you guys use?

What pressure? Well, I think 49 front and 42 rear works well for the Corsas and the doll. Higher loads may require higher pressure. For better traction, I think you drop the pressures. AS

No laps on any configuration. Just 0-60 runs and a slalom through pylons.

Quote: I’ll probably never track my BS, but I sure am having loads of fun with stoplight drags, freeway merging, and just generally hauling ***. Sorry if that offends anyone. Oh yeah, that posted 15 MPH 90 degree on the way to work? I now own the office record: 45MPH, and the BS didn’t even blink (ESP ON). I’ll try 50 when I get the nerve.

Ahem....

The 330i has done it at over 50mph. Easy.

ESP... what's that??

Some people don't need that much compensation.

I love my car. And E90s are ugly.
