Just wanted to get a survery/poll of which color is most popular amongst the CLK 63 Black Series owners. So which color do you have?
List of colors to choose from are:

Thanks for posting those pics Chuck. The red is really starting to grow on me. And that fact that the CF parts sticks out and is clearly visible on the red.
Do you know if they were selling those BS with mark ups and if so how much?

The first BS I saw was Mars Red and may very well have been the red car in the pics above when it was a new car at Beck back in November, it really stuck in my (my gearhead wife's too
) mind..... then we saw the white one!

[edit]there are actually 2 others at ~$148k. Both have under 30 miles.
They have an 07 SL65 on the lot with 3500 miles and they are selling it as a "new" car with an asking price of $217K. More like it that the owner drives a few thousand miles and then they put them on the lot and try and sell them as "new" cars. Go figure.

thats good though! inflated market value will only help us down the line. Im seriously considering a CLK63 Black over the new SL63.
I don't really need the convertible top of the SL63, and apart from that and the MCT transmission I dont see the difference to me.

Can you please tell me what is the headliner made of? Regular fabric or Alcantara? I'm still toying with the idea of picking up a BS when my dealer told me there are quite alot silvers left in the whole nation. After I'd driven my wife's C63, I'm hooked, a big 6.2L in a small sized car really works, and for me to get another C63 seems awkward, so the only thing left is the BS. This is still a very tempting car.

From what I have read the white and red cars were produced in limited numbers, whereas it appears that the obsidian is the rarest of the bunch. Does anyone know how many obsidians were produced?
