It's ok, they do somewhat look alike in person, and I got to touch them both @ Hockenheimring over the weekend. 
On the other hand, I'm going to talk to my guy at the dealer see if MB has any intention of bringing the C63 wagon to the US, it looked SO FREAKING COOL in person.

You mean the estate. Saloon is sedan and estate is wagon.

It was a blast, the Mercedes-AMG private party at the race track on Saturday night was dynamite, AMG unveiled the SL63 IWC edition at the same time as the 65 Black, when the debut show was finished, people paid close attention to the Black but not the IWC SL. Besides the F1 Championship we got the chance to see in person, we also saw the Porsche Cup prior to it, both were great and I wish you guys were there, the safety cars were on a different level than their road going versions, both in sound and performance. I have lots of pictures of the 65 Black up close, and I will post them up after I get all 200 pictures from the weekend sorted.

Got a call from my MB dealer yesterday. The SL BS is going to be about $350K and MB will be taking order inqueries from dealers now. I said thanks, but no thanks. I'll wait for a while until the depreciation hits. It looks like a great car, but not $200K better than my CLK BS.

i spoke to the head guy where i bought my bs - he called around and said no pricing was avail yet. We know it'll be north of $250 most likely...and at that pricepoint, who gives a crap about another $100 if it really is that much?? Most people who have that kind of loot laying around, well...$100k ain't gonna break the bank if it's something you WANT. Thats why they will only take deposits to garner interest at this point. That was th jest of my convo today with my guy at the dealer. Personally, it ain't worth it. It is as sick as can be but for that kind of cash I would rather have something that holds it value better. At that level, the law of diminishing returns has taken a strong hold om my thought process.
