The Black puts M3s and M5s to shame around a track
Both cars have different selling points, that's why some prefer one over the other. If one was the KING, then who would buy the other?I'm a member over on M3forum where genius here decided to spam the forum wanting to race a supercharged E46 M3 from 50-155mph.... Seriously not only is that beyond stupid but your risking peoples lives.
I'm not here to bad mouth any benz, in fact I give a lot of respect to the black series. It just sad this guy has the brain capacity of that of a 7 year old and sees nothing wrong with racing on a public roads up to 155mph.
1. He doesn't have his black series yet.
2. Claims hes beaten an M6... (I guess with his imaginary bs that he hasn't even received yet?)
3. Copies and pastes what Jeremy Clarkston writes about the black series and tries to play it off like he wrote it.
Besides the few members I see in this thread I see a lot of boy racers, like those I would find on a Honda forum, just talking massive **** for no apparent reason.... I love how most of you stereotype all BMW owners to be a55holes, but get mad when anyone stereotypes a benz owner to be a 60 year old on viagra who owns a glorified Diamond Chrysler.... Grow up and show respect where respect is due. It's a thing called being humble.
For the few who show respect
Heres the link where genius spouts off...

Now please log off and crawl back over to your M3 Forum or wherever it is you came from, we don't want to hear it from you just like you don't want me over on your site picking fights. God, these idiots make me want to sell my BMW's, I'm friggin embarressed to even admitt I own a couple of them.
FOR SALE 2003 E46 DINAN M3 SMG. BEST OFFER
You Make a thread on this Very poorly laid out fourm and you come over the the M3 forum to post, why? Is it because you feel threatened by the M3 and M5? Why dont you cut the crap and start acting a tad bit older
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...26728521618475
All that video shows is the BS driver couldn't hit an apex with a 10ft pole. Terrible driving - and lets not forget, that car was probably bone stock.
The idiots here comparing blown E46's to the Black Series need to step off already and wait until the Kenne Bell supercharger is ready for the Black Series

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I honestly don't understand why so many of the members of this forum are SO hostile.
The opening poster created a thread on the m3forum asking for people to do 50-155mph runs. I admit, he did not indicate whether he was talking about 1/4 strips or on the highway, but it seems like highway runs from the starting speed (50mph) and also what he has posted on the forum that hes done pulls on the highway. Everyone of us have broken the speed limit. But to race someone else on the highway 50-155mph is incredibly dangerous.
Wouldn't you guys agree that driving on the highway in that fashion is pretty childish and also not safe? And secondly, don't you think the OP would have been more successful if he asked m3 forum members to meet them on a drag strip and do some pulls there?
If you guys do not agree, then you can continue to endanger yourselves and others that drive on public roads!
Secondly, I believe the OP came onto the m3forum and posted how M5 and M6 owners should bow down to the CLK Black Series. I understand that the CLK Black Series is a fantastic car. It is a track beast and can do very well on the track....but at that same token, as you can see in the video posted a few posts back, a CLK BS in the hands of a novice track driver will be getting passed by MANY MANY cars. Straight line speed is great, but those little exiges' and m3s will be on your tail when the corners come up if your not an intermediate track driver. By track, I mean tracks such as Willow
Springs, Thunderhill, Watkins Glen, VIR...not a 1/4 track.
The other thing to talk about is that the OP is comparing a 140K car to a M6=110k and a M5= 90k and a M3=75k. The best comparison for the CLKBS, purely based on the price (i understand the CLK and C class is a direct competitor w/the 3 series and all its variations) is the 997 GT3 and 997 Turbo (both which are in the 120k to 140k price range).
I don't know what the intentions of the OP was, but going onto a BMW forum and saying that your Mercedes is a better car...well its not going to be favorable and will create an argument. I am not sure if that is called trolling, but it just wasn't the smartest thing.
In conclusion, the CLK BS is a great great car. There is no doubt that it is a straight line beast --- in the hands of ANY driver --- and it is also a phenomenal track car --- in the hands of a good track driver, but so is any car really, as that video shows.
I'll say it once more since my original post was, I guess to hard to comprehend?
1. Speeding and street racing from 50-155mph... hmmm i'm sure theres a difference there. I was under the impression anyone with a GED can figure that one out...
2. In all of my posts I thought I made it clear i'm not here to talk **** about any benz nor was I trying to generalize any benz owner except for the OP. In fact I thought I made it clear I was a fan. Guess your ego is getting in the way of common sense?
3. I don't know who Gustav is but how do you know about him giving ******** to little boys? Where you first in line

Please for the love of God tell me theres someone on this forum who understands my posts, lol.
Sorry but I just had to chime in for a quick second and respond to this post. Jest, If you are in fact being brutally and geniunely honest about being a fan of the AMG, then it couldn't be more clear to me in this message. I don't know what is being said on the BMW forum but since I've been following this thread you've been fairly reasonable in your statements....trying to be unbiased and a good sport!
No one is picking a fight. I am sure that there are people on this forum that have read what the OP wrote and agree with the more sensible people that his comments were inappropriate.
I don't want to stir up any arguments. I just wanted to ask some questions that would illustrate the egregious fashion in which your forum member posted on the m3forum.
Everyone knows that street racing is inappropriate.
the CLK BS will romp on an e46 m3.
it will also do well on an m5 and m6. I don't own either so I don't know.
Its comparing apples and oranges. The CLKBS is about 2x the price of a E92 M3 (75k FULLY LOADED) and 50K more than a M5 (90K) and 30k more than a M6 (110K). A CLKBS against a 997 Porsche Turbo or 997 GT3 would be a better straight line test.
At that same accord, the Porsches aren't designed to be a straight line beast. But even so, a CLKBS vs. either Porsche on the track...depends on the driver.

Perhaps you should just get a life and quit chasing people around the internet.
And as far as street racing is concerned, well, it just depends where an when. If the only person on the road at the time is YOU, well then you really aren't endangering anyone else are you - just breaking the law. And I suppose you and your M3 buddies have never broken the law by speeding have you ? Get lost chump.

I think most car enthusiates would agree that both BMW and Mercedes-Benz make some of the BEST automobiles in the WORLD! However, in my opinion the CLK63 BS is tops in overall performance whether it be track or not. Again, this is just my opinion from the reviews and/or video's that I've read or seen about other cars matched up against it. I'm sure this could be very hard to believe for some BMW owners/fans but why? BMW has been the benchmark that other automakers have tried to measure up to for many years in regards to performance, handling and overall value. (Mercedes being a very tight 2nd in my opinion). Now finally, the CLK63 AMG BS has been proven to be a beast on the track....beating out the M6 (even by a narrow margin) shows that the best is yet to come for both BMW and Mercedes. So what's all the fuss about? Why can't Mercedes-Benz owners/fans bask in this glory? Even if it might be for a short while....let it be! Now that would be a very classy thing to do while showing good sportsmanship right? Right now I'm thinking to myself
hmmm it's about time Mercedes can brag a little for a change...
Don't know which one's more exciting to watch. This thread or the brand new opening of the movie Dark Knight?!

This thread is going to be on lockdown mode pretty soon if you guys don't settle down...

I do have a life, but when someone gets hassled by polishers like yourself, someone has to stick up for them. Especially when morons like yourself speak with a snobbish tone, thats just gasoline to the fire. When people speak in the fashion that you have, its rude, condescending, and inappropriate. If someone, other than MB or BMW owners were to read your posts, they would agree that your posts are incredibly snobby and gives Mercedes owners a bad name. It only takes ones.
How is driving alone on an empty road street racing? If you read my first post, you should note that I mention that "Everyone of us have broken the speed limit. " No one is claiming that they haven't broken the law.
Either way, arguing with you is a waste of time, since you act as though you are better than others, but you can't properly quote me or you don't read what I wrote. How about you post every single DVD you have as well so people will
to you. All the vehicles you have already should make you a automobile connoisseur or an enthusiast, but you're just someone w/more money than brains or etiquette. I will always love the Mercedes CLK Black series, but if the contributors of this thread is a representation of the majority of owners, I will stay away from this car like the black plague. On the other hand, for 30k less, I can get a GT3 and spank a CLK BS on the straights and definitely at the track...assuming you still don't run in the novice group LZH, that is...if you even track your car.
