All higher end units are devaluating quicker. When I was pricing my BS last August I was given an invoice call at or around 128k (gross of holdback) and here are some more recent auction sales.
These arent necessarily prices available to the public although some can manage to get to these numbers. For perspective:

Autotrader.com is notorious for its overpriced dealer asking prices but you can find a new white one for 2k over invoice as advertised here. Im sure you could walk in and easily drop this price in a big way.

Here is a used black one with 4k miles, dealer asking 118 which means they took it in on trade for much less IMO

No expensive car is going to maintain values except for Ferrari and few others, so this isnt a knock on the BS as its arguably the best Benz out there for real enthusiasts who like to drive.

He or she can go early and actually touch the car before it runs to see if its worth a bid or not.
The key is to get/find somebody to go and that person will have to trust you since the car is not cheap- they may have a credit line or just write a check but either way its yours. Im sure they will not want to tie up 90-100k for too long so have your money ready

Vic is giving great advice. A GREAT person to use is Paul Kramer at AutoKennel in OC.
He races BMW's with us and is just a good, honest, trustworthy & nice guy!
He has posted some ads on here for benz now and then. But if you tell him what you want, he will get it and charge you a small fee.

Riverside has sales every weekday and the last two Thursday's are the highline sales meaning nicer cars like Benzes, Porsches, BMW's, Ferraris, special cars, etc. Most of these are Bank sales like Chase, MBCC, BMW financial... lease returns, brass hats, factory cars, etc. There are also dealer sales where they run their cars thru the lanes and repo lanes too.

Globe Mercedes of Fairfeild has one. Its Red/Blk, has a renntech chip with exhaust. They are firm on the price. It has about 250 miles on it. Not a big fan on red

If people are interested, Mercedes of Laguna Nigel has a mars red one. Also, Fletcher Jones Newport has a white one. Not sure on the prices, but they are both brand new in the show room.

The term Highline has to do with the type of cars sold not pricing or warranty. If the factory warranty is remaining, its remaining.

FAAO means Florida Auto Auction of Orlando, and "no" means that the particular car has not been added to "weigh" the sample prices (soetimes happens if a wreck, title problem, or manufacturer buyback comes thru which might upset the real nature of the average pricing). Yes, there are fees, in this dollar range at a Mannheim auction, they are around 6-800 per car. Then you stil have to get it home, go over it, make sure you have all your stuff (keys, books, etc). Most of the cars at these auctions are not what you expect--to most of these people cars are just a commodity--not the joy toy that they are to us. Hope this helps.
