the Real Deal....DTM on ebay
Lmited production has a cache, but on the track black series is just as fast unless your at a very long track like Spa. If you think the black series sounds good you should hear this car at full wail.

I tried pushing the VIN WDB2093421F154436 through different MB software and kept coming up with a CLK200 Kompressor... wanted the part numbers for that steering wheel, gauges, etc...
This is funny! They actually started life as a CLK 200 Kompressor so it is correct.
They arrived at HWA as fully completed cars before their transformation into CLK DTM's.
Components like the brakes, rear dif, coil overs seem to have been transported well to the BS. And, I prefer NA engines. Plus, I have no interest in owning a car I can't drive. AS

If I had $429K sitting around I would buy a Black Series and drop $70K on some sick mods. I would still have a car that was nearly as rare and could at least keep up with, if not spank a DTM on the track and still have $240K left over in my pocket to buy an SL 65 Black Series....oh, wait a second, that's what I did

I heard different story, and it's from MB Manhattan's top guys. Anyway, like JCART, I'm getting mine @ MSRP and the first one too, I can hardly wait for the car to show up at my house in Long Island.

The CLK DTM is truly a masterpiece, but for 429K, it's alot. With that kind of money, I would get an SL Black and an S Class for daily use. 429K for a car that's not street legal is just rediculous.
