No way are they going to put a V12 in the CLK. It would be so nose heavy it wouldn't be funny and it would never fit. Unless they have some new V12 that is smaller than the current one it is never going to happen.

Secondly, and more importantly, AMG improves on the regular MB line up.
If MB doesn't make a 12 cylinder CLK, AMG isn't going to engineer a one off model of 500 units. So according to my mothers brothers cousin who walks Volkers dog, it aint going to happen.

clk black series
From the U.K press that I have read there is not going to be a clk in 2010.
There will be a new E class coupe that is due out late this year or early next that will act as its replacement. I heard that the "black" version of the E class coupe would be due in the second half of 2010.
There was no mention of a V12 and indeed as has been mentioned before the german manufacturers seem to be heading for smaller engines while adding turbos or superchargers to make up for some of the lost cc.
I believe the next batch of super saloons/coupes will be lighter with smaller capacity engines. The latest " muscle " car era may be coming to a close.

AMG boss Volder Mornhinweg basicly said the HP war is over. The V12 is really old technology and its been reported the new wave is turbo V8's to achieve emissions and power.
