I don't "care" either per se....But this is an enthusiast forum, and enthusiasts are usually a pretty rigid group who like to vent and this is the place for it. If I saw something badged as something it is not, I would simply shake my head and utter under my breath as I so often do in LA traffic, "IDIOT". But, if someone comes on here and says they have a BS when they realy do not....well then it's go time

Well personally, I couldn't care less if someone put a BS badge on their Geo Metro as long as they are honest that it isn't really a BS.

I agree it wasn't the best analogy (as well as the fact that no surgery can result in something hotter than Jessica Alba), but the point I was making is that having 1000hp in a non-BS car with a BS badge won't necessarily validate the badge in the eyes of most people...

LOL, yeah... I say that sometimes too. Only on epic-fails though, like a Eclipse with a Ferrari horse badge on the rear. I wish I had a camera that day...

So were back to square one, all points heard and accepted but not necessarily agreed upon. Bravo to us.

If I had a 1000 hp CLK I would design my own badge, to have some people confuse a black series with a 1000 hp CLK wouldn't make me very happy.

I think I'll put a 240D badge on my 500E one day. Will that also count as posing...or will it be reverse posing?

No, that'd be fine because it'd... kinda sorta be a... sleeper.

I know some people have expressed interest in rebadging their E55 with 320 badges and removing the "V8 Kompressor" badges. Don't know if anyones done it though.

I can't believe no one has mentioned putting a "Type R" badge on. Don't they automatically make your car faster?

Back in the day "Type R" badges were good for 10 extra hp, now they're only worth 8.

ok, that makes sense. I'll have to go with an upgrade. My coworker as a (real!) TL Type S. I wonder if he would miss his badge?

LOL, god damn, I have been away for too long...but I think I have spoken on the phone with Nielsll, he seemed real enough and I think he does own a BS, in fact I think evosport is going to be or is already doing some work on the car. If it is the same person I think it is he owns a home here in Chicago and one in OC, I offered to let him come see and drive my car to check out the evosport mods.

Yeah...I spoke to him too and he seemed like a stand up guy. I'm surprised he hasn't responded in this thread yet.

Once I payed closer attention to his screen name it hit me that I talked to him in the past. Seems like a good guy and quite a car guy. I have not been around here much so I can't speak for anything else that may or may not have gone in in these forums between him and other members.
