CLK AMG BLACK SERIES (among other German things)
geo help please .

for reasons too stupid to explain . i once had a black series and sold it . unable to live with my self i bought another ( second hand this time ). so now the documentation is not as complete as mine was . also believe me i am having a really hard time finding the answers i need from MB they are not very knowledgeable or maybe that should be helpful .
anyway i desperately need the original geo settings for the car and am interested to get some track settings also .
can you help a humble newbie ( or is a crucifixion heading my way )

What is a geo setting? Do mean the suspension setting or geometry as in camber, caster, toe in/out? Is this Jeremy Clarkson? If it is you should be crucified for the lousy job your tame racing driver the Stig did in driving the BS on the run way you call a track. Helen Marrin could have done better.

OK WT,
If you haven't mucked up the ride height you can go 1/4" front lower and 1/2" rear and use the following racing settings. 2.5 degs neg front. You may have to get the Evosport wheel spacers to get to the 2.5 neg. In the rear all your going to get is 1.5 neg. I run 1mm toe in front, and 2mm toe in rear.
Sorry I forgot my caster settings but it's not that much off stock, whatever that is.
Good luck.

The original suspension settings are on page s 213 to 215 of the USA owners manual. (I bet that helps!)

If you can't find them, turn clockwise, counting the clicks or turns until full stop, then make a note of that as your "stock" setting.

Back it down as you feel comfortable.

Yeah, you're right.
Nice touch by Mercedes, they charge you more for the car and give you less access.

At least you get the lightweight seats and the CF door panels without airbags.

The backrest angle is adjustable so rear access is a little better.

Luke,
Glad to share my findings which is good for about two seconds a lap....as long as the driver has some talent.
