Have you tried checking with maybe Brembo, Hawk or EBC? I'd check with Brembo first since those calipers are OEM'ed by them.

Porterfield makes a pad which I tried and wasn't as good as the stock ones.

any other company that makes it that does not dust so much? If I drive it 40 miles, it starts getting pretty dusty and these wheels are not easy to clean (for me at least)

I suspect that many here don't drive their Blacks much so I suspect that brake dust is not much of an issue.

I recently replaced the pads on my wife's E320 with some generic pads from my local forign parts store & now there's barely any dust at all, and what dust there is is gray in color. Doesn't seem to be any noticable stopping difference.

I'll have to check to see if they carry Black pads as I too can't stand the dust.

It looks like Carbotech carries pad for the CLK63 BS in 6 different compounds. I've never tried them though, Carbotech that is.

MB dealers in my area always ask for a vin so they don't quote the wrong part number.

I have Carbotech pads on my M5, I have been happy with them and would buy them again.
