Me? Taunt? Never. I noted the remarkable similarities between this fellow and ClayJ and thought perhaps he had a name change or something. If they are indeed different people, then they must know of each other, how many billionaire world trotters can we have on one board?

If you think it's the same person, can't you have an IP address checked?

I for one think F1 is the best it's ever been and anxiously await this weekend’s race.
Luke, don't get me wrong F1 cars are amazing, I just think the racing sucks. This year is a little better than years past, there are 4 to 5 drivers that can win on any given race weekend as opposed to seasons past where there are usually only 2 or 3 guys that have a legit shot. NASCAR fans for the most part are clueless but the racing is good, I wish they had more than 2 road races per season the ovals get old quick. I've taken a big interest in Grand Am and ALMS, the racing is getting good in those series. I wish we had a series similar to DTM here in the states. If NASACAR was smart they would start a road racing series similar to DTM here in the US, if anyone could make it work it would be NASCAR, they have the infrastructure and marketing know how to make it work. Racing should be racing, not 3 drivers that have a shot at winning with 16 other drivers that are just "fillers" and unfortunately the entire past decade of F1 has been exactly that, hard to argue with me on that. I have a better idea BRING BACK The CAN-AM CARS!!!!!!!!

The infield parties are insane, I would show up for the infield party at Michigan and Texas and skip the race if I could only do one or the other. Everyone should do it at least once. If you are not doing anything the 2nd weekend of July fly to Chicago I will change your view on it....just make sure you bring a spare liver....race? What race? NASCAR should change their slogan to "go for the race stay for the party".

While we usually agree on most points...I'm gonna have to disagree with you on this one. For the most part, the current field of F1 drivers are are VERY evenly matched as evidenced by their qualifying times:

FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE ESPANA TELEFÓNICA 2010
Pos No Driver Team Q1 Q2 Q3 Laps

1 6 Mark Webber RBR-Renault 1:21.412 1:20.655 1:19.995 18
2 5 Sebastian Vettel RBR-Renault 1:21.680 1:20.772 1:20.101 20
3 2 Lewis Hamilton McLaren-Mercedes 1:21.723 1:21.415 1:20.829 17
4 8 Fernando Alonso Ferrari 1:21.957 1:21.549 1:20.937 23
5 1 Jenson Button McLaren-Mercedes 1:21.915 1:21.168 1:20.991 18
6 3 Michael Schumacher Mercedes GP 1:22.528 1:21.557 1:21.294 18
7 11 Robert Kubica Renault 1:22.488 1:21.599 1:21.353 16
8 4 Nico Rosberg Mercedes GP 1:22.419 1:21.867 1:21.408 22
9 7 Felipe Massa Ferrari 1:22.564 1:21.841 1:21.585 24
10 23 Kamui Kobayashi BMW Sauber-Ferrari 1:22.577 1:21.725 1:21.984 20

And here are the times from China

2010 FORMULA 1 CHINESE GRAND PRIX

1 5 Sebastian Vettel RBR-Renault 1:36.317 1:35.280 1:34.558 21
2 6 Mark Webber RBR-Renault 1:35.978 1:35.100 1:34.806 17
3 8 Fernando Alonso Ferrari 1:35.987 1:35.235 1:34.913 15
4 4 Nico Rosberg Mercedes GP 1:35.952 1:35.134 1:34.923 17
5 1 Jenson Button McLaren-Mercedes 1:36.122 1:35.443 1:34.979 17
6 2 Lewis Hamilton McLaren-Mercedes 1:35.641 1:34.928 1:35.034 13
7 7 Felipe Massa Ferrari 1:36.076 1:35.290 1:35.180 19
8 11 Robert Kubica Renault 1:36.348 1:35.550 1:35.364 21
9 3 Michael Schumacher Mercedes GP 1:36.484 1:35.715 1:35.646 21
10 14 Adrian Sutil Force India-Mercedes 1:36.671 1:35.665 1:35.963 23

Look at the splits on these times and you can clearly see that each of the top ten are seperated by fractions of a second. Go take a look at GrandAm and ALMS and you will see some MUCH wider gaps between drivers. These drivers, their teams and equipment have gotten so good that fate is really the determining factor...any of these top 10 guys have a very real shot at winning...unlike the 4 or 5 guys you suggested who dominate every race.

Week to week qualifying for the F1 starting grid is nearly as exciting as the race itself.
To be fair, usually the race will be won by someone in the top 5 starters.
There's not much passing but the cars are so high strung that you can lead the entire race and suddenly you get a DNF because your brakes overheat or your exhaust manifold cracks and you lose power or on and on. Ask Vettel, he should have won 3 races this year.

I dvr qualifying and the race and enjoy them as needed.

Exactly my point. Since these guys are all so close; whomever qualifys best is usually out in front at the end barring any mechanical/equipment problems, ie FATE. And as such, whomever qualifys first at Monaco, usually wins as there are so few passing zones. In actuality, Monaco isn't that great of a competition but more of a spectacle.

So you guys are saying you enjoy watching "races" with minimal passing and grid position is a MAJOR factor in the final outcome? BORING!!!! Luke, that is not racing it more like rime trials. You guys proved my point for me, thanks. I do agree that this year is much better than past seasons but its still not the best "racing", best cars, drivers and technology, yes, best racing, not even close.

I can save you a lot of grief....it took awhile to figure out the Clay J comment was directed at me and I can assure you I am not clay j (whomever that is)! I am also flattered someone is putting so many zeros behind my name but after this weekend, the zeros should be in front.

Kubica continues to shine...Alonso continues to be a cry baby....Hamilton continues to be Hamilton!

Back in London today. I know I am going to get grief for this but.....Hennessey is back over testing the Venom at Silverstone. If the weather holds up will try and get out to see it. Anyone watch top gear? If so, "you know who" is testing the car.

I wondered if anyone would respond to that!

He is one of the most humble down to earth guys not to mention a great driver. Just never say both his real name and the stig in the same sentence.

"Hennessey prepared" is not always a good thing. Might check the court records and talk with Viper owners......
