What kind of a Black Series is this?
It can't be a race car, it has street pieces all over the car.



I've seen bad pics of this car at AMG events before, and finally stumbled upon a good one today. Kinda curious what it is. Looks like you can stuff some 305's under that... in the front!

AMG built two "Ring Taxi's" for rides at driver training days. Too bad they never turned a wheel in competition.

Those vids were posted by a member here who went to the launch of the SL BS at Laguna Seca. They are called "Taxis". Do a search in this forum and you will find the thread. Now that I watch that video again, I think that car just has the stock transmission with the Speedshift PLUS software that blips the throttle to rev match downshifts. Such a shame they never campaigned those cars...They would have dominated GrandAm GT class.
