650 + at the wheels would be nice, but I honestly have no clue???? Since the Weistec test mule C63 is bone stock and mine has cat delete, headers, SLS cams , heads and a race fuel tune I don't even know where to begin on guestimating a hp figure. The headers might even be costing me a couple ponies on a set-up like this becuase the more free flowing exhaust is probably gonna cost me at least a half pound of boost, I'm not sure if they are planning on trying to counter that with a pulley or what. One thing is for sure it should have the best power to weight ratio of any road going benz on this forum.

Weistec is experimenting with the evosport pulley on my car and modifying to get to the proper boost level. We both have a very similar set up on the exhaust so you should be good.

If this setup will yield more reliable power than a modified 5.5TT of next year then I'm going to be all over it. Warranty and CA emmissions may be an issue but that never stopped me when I bought my new 2006 C55 back in Oct 05.

I don't want to speak for anyone but Weistec was trying to get this system CARB approved...or whatever you guys call the approval out there. Not sure of the status on aproval but I'm sure it will be posted on here if and when it happens.

Wow!! What an amazing development. All I have been hearing on this site is that a supercharger could not be added to the 6.2 engine. I hope the reliablity issues and power gains are good. I will not buy the 5.5 bi-turbo if the news is truly good on this supercharger. I want to see the power gains, quarter mile, and 0-60 times.

Hey Jim,
You picking up tomorrow and getting ready for the track Friday night?
Got any preliminary results? Brad has to have told you something?

I fly in to OC tomorrow morning. I don't have too much info other than they are buttoning up the final details. I've seen a few pics and everything I've seen looks good. Can't wait.

Famoso event on Friday night was cancelled so today I'm going to be researching tracks in the southwest US and their weather forecasts to find the best possible place to run. Im going to head further east to Vegas AZ, NM, OK or TX and find a track that I can rent or with a test and tune. I have to have my RV down in Dallas by mid week so I can't stick around SoCal for the re-scheduled Famoso event.

jrcart - no offense intended, but the above quote makes me wonder how well you grasp the correlation between recorded max boost and engine output. Boost is simply a measure of restriction within the engine... eliminate some restrictions, and you'll have the same (or more) airflow but at lower boost pressure. FWIW, a S/C'd engine with a properly designed free-flowing exhaust will make more hp, and at a lower boost pressure level, than the exact same S/C'd engine with a more restrictive exhaust. In conclusion, just because the recorded boost level goes down, doesn't necessarily mean that the measurable output goes down.

Oh, and a free-bump for an update. I think many are awaiting your feedback on this noteworthy mod to your high-profile CLK63BS.

Yes , could any developemnt in the history of modding the M156 be as highly anticipated as this??!

My supercharger is being shipped to Australia on Thursday, about 3 weeks late. I dont know if weistec have been swamped with orders or the expectation management system just completely blows

I think it's been more than a few days now... Hopefully you're not installing two superchargers in your car?

I'm sure this thing is going to be a BEAST.......
As most of us know, JR has put more time, effort, and $$$$ into his car than most of you have spent buying our cars. This is going to be an EXCELLENT addition to the 63 platform.

Just as posted above, JR, come off the details/ pics.

Inquiring minds want to know.............
